Why Focus on Youth?
Youth are the driving force of any nation. With over 60% of Pakistan’s population under the age of 30, the country holds immense potential for growth and transformation. However, many young individuals, especially those from underprivileged and minority communities, face systemic barriers that limit their opportunities for education, employment, and social mobility. Diaspora Initiative is committed to empowering these young minds by providing them with international exposure, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities, ensuring they become leaders of change in their communities.
Many minority and low-income youth struggle to access quality education due to economic constraints, discrimination, and lack of resources.
Religious minorities often face exclusion or bias in the education system.
A high youth unemployment rate leaves many young individuals without stable job prospects.
Workplace discrimination against minorities limits their career growth and access to leadership roles.
Minority communities often face social stigma, exclusion, and discrimination, making it harder for young people to integrate into mainstream society.
Hate speech and religious intolerance create an environment of fear and insecurity.
Many minority families live below the poverty line, forcing youth into child labor instead of pursuing education and skill development.
Financial instability restricts access to professional growth opportunities like internships and international exposure.
Minority youth have limited representation in politics, media, and decision-making bodies, leading to underrepresentation of their struggles and needs.
Religious and ethnic minorities often face violence, forced conversions, and marginalization, affecting their mental and emotional well-being.
Young women, especially from minority backgrounds, face double discrimination—both gender-based and religious.
Diaspora Initiative is dedicated to bridging these gaps by
By empowering Pakistan’s youth, especially those from minority backgrounds, we are working toward a more inclusive, just, and prosperous society.
